Product Description

The VitidAutunno® Piemonte Bianco Passito – Pieve del CauRo® comes from the vineyards surrounding the ancient Pieve del CauRo (7th century AD) in Montechiaro d'Acqui, along the historic Roman route connecting the Alps to the Mediterranean.

Passito Bianco

, the soils are loose, mineral and rich in petrified tuff, a unique composition that naturally gives the wine extraordinary minerality and depth.

The grapes are harvested only at maximum ripeness, followed by a light drying process to concentrate sugars and aromas. Vinification and aging take place in wooden barrels and later in glass, giving the wine its rich, enveloping character.

This passito shows an intense straw yellow color with golden reflections, a complex and persistent bouquet, and a taste that is ethereal, mineral and reminiscent of very ripe grape must.

A wine that evolves beautifully: best within 4 years, excellent up to 6–8 years.

A refined white passito for those who appreciate elegant, structured and contemplative wines.
